A New Chapter at Latitude: Evolving with Intention
If you’ve been part of the Latitude community for a while, you may have noticed a few changes around here.
And if change makes you immediately wonder “wait… what happened?” — don’t worry, this isn’t one of those dramatic “we need to talk” announcements.
This is more of a growth spurt.
Latitude has always been built around one core belief: that meaningful work happens when we create space for people, ideas, and systems to evolve.
And now, it’s our turn.
Latitude is Growing into its Next Season
Over the years, Latitude expanded into something I’m incredibly proud of — a multidisciplinary wellness space built to support people in meaningful, accessible ways.
Like many things we build with care, it taught me a lot.
It taught me what works.
It showed me where my deepest strengths lie.
And it clarified where I’m most effective, most energized, and most aligned in the work I do.
As a result, Latitude is entering a new chapter: one that is more focused, more intentional, and deeply aligned with the work I feel most called to offer.
Moving forward, Latitude is now a solo practice and consulting space led solely by me.
A little more streamlined.
A little more intentional.
Still very much Latitude.
What This Means Moving Forward
Latitude will now focus on three core areas of work:
Counselling
At the heart of everything is the clinical work.
I continue to offer virtual counselling for individuals and folks across British Columbia, with a focus on:
Anxiety and burnout
Trauma and CPTSD
Relationships and attachment
Identity exploration
Fertility and reproductive mental health
Personal growth and life transitions
High-functioning overwhelm (you know who you are)
The work remains grounded, relational, practical, and deeply human.
No therapy buzzwords for the sake of therapy buzzwords.
Just meaningful support that helps create real movement.
Consulting
This is an area that has grown organically over the years and one I’m excited to expand more intentionally.
I offer strategic consulting for businesses, organizations, clinics, and communities looking to strengthen systems, improve operations, support service development, and build sustainable, values-aligned growth.
This work may include:
Operational strategy and systems refinement
Client experience and conversion optimization
Program and service development
Workflow and process design
Team structure and implementation support
Strategic growth planning
I’ve had the privilege of building, scaling, refining, and supporting meaningful initiatives — and I’m excited to continue bringing that experience into collaborative consulting work.
Coaching & Strategic Support
For founders, leaders, entrepreneurs, and helping professionals navigating growth, transition, or complexity.
This work sits at the intersection of strategy, leadership development, clarity, and sustainable momentum.
Sometimes you don’t need therapy.
Sometimes you don’t need a full-scale consultant.
Sometimes you need a strategic thought partner who can help you untangle the mess, identify the next right step, and move forward with confidence.
That’s this space.
Why the Shift?
Because clarity creates capacity.
As a new mom, capacity is something I have come to value even more than I did before.. This transition allows me to focus more deeply on the work I do best, create greater intentionality in how I serve, and build something sustainable for the long term. It also creates space for future projects, collaborations, resources, and offerings that I’m genuinely excited to bring to life. (Yes, I’m being slightly mysterious on purpose)
What’s Ahead
This next season at Latitude is all about thoughtful growth.
You can expect:
More educational resources
Practical insights on mental health, burnout, relationships, and growth
Business strategy content
Behind-the-scenes reflections on building sustainable work
New ways to connect and work together
Less noise.
More depth.
More clarity.
More intention.
Thank You
If you’ve been here through any version of Latitude — thank you. Building something meaningful often requires allowing it to evolve. This next chapter feels aligned, energizing, and deeply right.
I’m excited for what’s ahead, and I’m grateful you’re here for it. Here’s to what’s next.
With immense gratitude and a full heart,
— Lauren
