My name is Jared May, and I am an RCC candidate currently completing my Master of Counselling degree through City University in Canada. I hold a B.A. Honours degree from Concordia University as well as a B.Ed. from UBC. With more than a decade of experience in education and pastoral care across Asia and British Columbia, I have always strived to ground my practice as a helper in creating an empathetic, mindful, and compassionate space reflection.

As a counsellor, offer a safe environment where clients can share their stories, work through challenges around depression, anxiety, burnout, and life transitions. I aim to explore values, meaning, and relationships with my clients to help them find and shape their own ideas of growth.

I have a client-centred approach, focusing on Attachment-Based Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Meaning-Centred Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy.

I am committed to collaborating with my clients to explore their unique experiences, strengths with attention and care.
