About Lauren Legere
Clinician. Founder. Strategic Advisor.
I am the founder of Latitude Counselling, and formerly co-founded Latitude Wellness, where I built and led a multi-practitioner clinical practice grounded in thoughtful care, collaboration, and operational integrity.
Through this work I developed extensive experience in clinical leadership, program development, and organizational strategy. Over time, my work expanded beyond direct clinical care into supporting organizations navigating complex questions about service delivery, program design, and sustainable systems of care.
Today my practice focuses on two interconnected areas: clinical counselling and strategic advisory work.
Clinical Work
I’m both a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) and a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC), with a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology. My path into this work has been shaped as much by my years in corporate sales as by my clinical training—giving me a unique perspective on what it means to thrive in high-pressure, fast-paced environments. I continue to offer virtual counselling, drawing on years of experience supporting individuals navigating leadership demands, complex life transitions, burnout, anxiety, relationship challenges, fertility journeys, complex trauma and personal growth.
My approach is holistic: I believe that mind, body, and spirit are deeply connected, and true healing comes from addressing each of these layers. Together, we’ll explore the patterns, habits, and narratives that may be keeping you stuck, and build the tools you need to move forward with more clarity, resilience, and fulfillment.
I bring warmth, practicality, and a bit of real-world grit to my sessions. I know what it feels like to push through burnout and to question your sense of identity, and I’m here to help you create space for a life that feels both sustainable and meaningful.
This work remains an important part of my practice and informs the systems-level thinking I bring to advisory work.
Strategic Advisory
Alongside my clinical work, I partner with Indigenous communities and health organizations to design mental health and wellness services that are culturally grounded, sustainable, and responsive to community needs.
A Northern BC Perspective
I grew up in a small rural community in Northern British Columbia and now live and work in Northern BC once again. This perspective deeply informs how I approach both clinical and advisory work.
Rural and northern communities often face unique challenges in accessing care: limited services, geographic distance, workforce shortages, and systems that are frequently designed with urban contexts in mind.
Because of this, my advisory work focuses on developing services that are realistic, sustainable, and grounded in the realities of the communities they serve.
Becoming a parent also shaped how I think about the work I do and the impact I hope to have over time.
This shift led me to refine my practice—moving away from managing large clinical teams and toward supporting communities and organizations at a systems level, where thoughtful design and strong leadership can create lasting change.
